When we first started the shutdown back in March, I started a weekday Facebook devotion so that we, as a congregation, could draw closer to God during that difficult time. I originally intended only to create those videos as long as people were unable to attend church and bible study. However, because of the response that I got from those videos, I have decided it is important to continue having video devotions on the Facebook page indefinitely. Moving forward, I will produce a devotion for the Facebook page to be published each Wednesday by 9 am.
For these weekly devotions, I have decided to begin with a series entitled, “Knowing God.” We will be looking at different attributes of God that are revealed in scripture. The Bible tells us that we have a God who has made himself known to us. He reveals that he is holy, that he is a jealous God, that he is a loving God and so much more. Join me as we see what God has revealed to us about himself and what that means for us. This is also an opportunity to reach out to friends and family outside of our Faith Lutheran community, so please “like” the videos, comment on them, and share them with friends. I hope these devotions will be beneficial to you and that they will help to draw you closer to your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
